To celebrate the arrival of LeBron James to the LA Lakers, Nike executed a one-day-only LeBron Station renaming takeover of Pico Station, just outside of Staples Center, home of the Lakers. Paired with a station domination at nearby 7th/Metro Station in Downtown Los Angeles, the experiential campaign garnered a wide array of social media attention and enthusiastic local news coverage.
